Business Development Manager

About the role

Drive new business growth for Octa1ne across our target verticals — financial services, healthcare, legal and technology. You will own the full sales cycle from initial outreach and qualification through to proposal, negotiation and close.

What you will do

Own and manage a pipeline of target accounts across priority verticals
Conduct outbound prospecting via phone, email, LinkedIn and events
Lead discovery calls and security needs assessments with prospects
Develop and present tailored proposals to C-suite and board-level stakeholders
Negotiate commercial terms and close managed security service agreements
Work closely with the technical team to scope and price complex engagements

What we are looking for

Proven track record in B2B technology or managed services sales
Experience selling to senior decision-makers — CISOs, IT Directors, CEOs
Strong ability to translate technical security concepts into business language
Self-motivated and comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Excellent written and verbal communication
Eligibility to work without restriction

Nice to have

Prior cybersecurity or managed security services sales experience
Existing relationships in financial services, healthcare or legal sectors
Experience with CRM platforms (HubSpot, Salesforce)
Understanding of compliance frameworks (Cyber Essentials, ISO 27001, GDPR)
